Nexus Studios director Fx Goby not too long ago collaborated with Gorillaz co-creator Jamie Hewlett on one other music video for the digital band’s new monitor “Silent Working ft. Adeleye Omotayo.” The challenge builds on earlier work from Hewlett and the Emmy-nominated director, who most not too long ago teamed up on “Cracker Island’ ft. Thundercat,” the title monitor on the band’s forthcoming new album.

Hewlett and Goby got down to produce a narrative-led, creatively bold music video for the band, bringing collectively prosthetics, pyrotechnics, efficiency, and complicated visible results. Produced by Nexus Studios, the live-action and animation-infused video’s sense of scale is conveyed by means of layers of element, incorporating minuscule carvings on the cave partitions, evaporating cult members, and the usage of actual fireplace on set.

The musical group not too long ago journeyed from their authentic base at Kong Studios in West London to Silverlake, California, as they recruited new members to affix The Final Cult. With their new digs comes a brand new look, with the band now showing in stylized 3D, courtesy of Hewlett and Goby’s artistic collaboration.
