OPEN STUDIOS PRESENTS “THREE ARTISTS’ IMPRESSIONS OF THE NATURAL WORLD” — PAINTINGS BY ALICE WEIL, PATRICIA JONES AND STEVE CURL. As a part of Silicon Valley Open Studios, native artists Alice Weil, Patricia Jones and Steve Curl can be exhibiting their work at 75 Arbor Street in Menlo Park on Mom’s Day Weekend, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Might 13 and Might 14.
Alice Weil, a San Francisco Bay Space native, finds peace portray beneath the shade of mighty oaks as they grace the golden hills of the Stanford property and outlying areas. Her work mirror the facility and energy of the Bay Space panorama, omitting the hand of man in her work. Impressed by the fog-ridden hills and passionate in regards to the feeling of the paint on canvas, Weil desires the viewer to be taken away to a quiet relaxed house. Her work encourages the attention and thoughts to chill out and gaze.
